Hailing from the Western Cape of South Africa, I am an amateur landscape photographer based in Cape Town and Pringle Bay. With a keen eye for detail, colour, textures and contrast, my aim is to transport the viewers of my photographs to the locations they were taken at, with a touch of drama and dreaminess added for effect.

Having developed and nurtured my passion for nature, especially the sea and all things maritime from an early age, as well as having a career at sea and in hydrography, my passion has always been with the sea and seascapes, followed by mountains and recently, the night skies. Combining seascapes with mountains and the night sky is the ultimate thrill for me.

Apart from spending quality time with my family and loved ones at home, I am most alive exploring both new and familiar places outdoors, learning new skills with my camera and honing those the skills I have acquired already.
